On to Salmonberry River railroad repair completed
Work underway to repair a section of the Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad along the Salmonberry River after flooding in February 1996 caused a landslide. Mud from landslides threatened prime steelhead trout spawning grounds. (Governor John A. Kitzhaber Records, Salmonberry River Issues Records)
