Series documents actions of the Governor’s Office related to the Oregon Strategy for Social Support Initiative (OSSI). OSSI was a process designed to help provide social supports and services in an integrated, coordinated, and efficient manner. Thirteen associated work groups met from 1997 to 2001. Subjects include access to alcohol and drug treatment, safe and affordable housing, early childhood system of supports, accessible and affordable child care, access to transportation, and others. Records include correspondence, memoranda, e-mails, worksheets, surveys, reports, publications, meeting minutes and agendas, plans, legislation, speeches, and related documents.
