This series contains one film and a small amount of audio tapes recorded both before and early in the McCall administration as governor. It includes a 1964 film from KBES-TV in Medford from the Tom McCall for Secretary of State Committee, as well as audio tapes that include: Robert Straub on KGW-TV's "Viewpoint" in 1967; Governor McCall's inaugural; the 100th day of the 64th Legislative session; and several others.

This series documents the governor's activities with regard to pardons and commutations of incarcerated individuals in Oregon's corrections system. It includes files on specific individuals requesting review for the purpose of pardon or commutation of their sentences. A small amount of reports regarding release of inmates from correctional institutions are also included in this series.

This series documents the activity of the Governor's Select Committee on Conflict of Interest and includes minutes, exhibits, and bill drafts. The committee was appointed following the governor's veto of HB 2595, 1973, a legislative bill that proposed the enactment of sweeping legislation designed to document and avoid potential conflicts of interest by Oregon's public officials. The committee's charge was to develop a more workable alternative to the vetoed legislation.

This record series documents the minutes of the committee from May 10, 1974 to September 17, 1974. The committee was appointed by the governor to examine the problem of consumer complaints relating to the sale and development of lands in Oregon. Regulation of subdivisions and land use legislation are among the major topics discussed by the committee.

This series documents the activities of the Ombudsman Office during McCall's term as governor. The office was created by executive action on July 1, 1969, and was charged with the investigation of the administrative actions of state agencies. The Ombudsman was to report regularly to the governor and the legislature, and was also responsible for identifying problems regarding policies and procedures. The series includes case files, a case files index, and correspondence.
