049	Chair Hill	Calls committee to order at 3:20 p.m. Asks for introduction of committee members and staff.
Proposed committee rules submitted by staff (EXHIBIT A).
063	Rep. Patridge	MOTION: Moves to ADOPT the proposed Committee Rules dated 01/12/01.
070	Rep. Lowe	Asks for clarification of committee rule #11 regarding the practical application of the rule that the committee may hear public testimony with one member, given the small committee.
075	Chair Hill	Explains that the rule will allow the committee to start on time, and that votes will still require a quorum.
085	Rep. Lowe	Asks for clarification on rule #12 regarding minority reports, as she is the only minority member.
090	Chair Hill	Explains that the committee cannot change that rule because it is based upon House rules.
		VOTE: 3-0
095	Chair Hill	Hearing no objection, declares the motion CARRIED.
110	Chair Hill	Adjourns the committee at 3:30 p.m.
