HB 4038 PUBLIC HEARING
005	Phil Donovan	Committee for Oregon’s Future. Submits testimony and testifies in support of HB 4038 which specifies ballot title for SJR 17 (2001) (EXHIBIT A). Explains that HB 4038 will provide a ballot title for Measure 10 that is more understandable to the public.
021	Administrator Marjorie Taylor	Describes the items in the packets given to the committee on HB 4038.
029	Sen. Ferrioli	Notes that this legislation will clarify the wording of Ballot Measure 10 connecting the benefit to the citizens of Oregon and the university for investing in high technology.
045	Chair Clarno	Agrees that this legislation adds needed clarification. Closes the public hearing on HB 4038 and opens a work session.

052	Sen. Gordly	MOTION: Moves HB 4038 to the floor with a DO PASS recommendation.
