WORK SESSION – INTRODUCTION OF COMMITTEE BILLS
013	Chair Knopp	Advises members that he would like to introduce the LC drafts that have been provided to members as committee bills.
016	Rep. Brown	MOTION: Moves LC's: 1657-1, 1669, 1662, 1660, 1658, 1665, 1667, 1661, 1663, 1659, 1664, 1617, 1615 BE INTRODUCED as committee bills.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING
029	Chair Knopp	Reports to the committee they have been given a copy of the Chairman’s Report, House Special Task Force on PERS Sustainability and Accountability (2001-02 Interim) (EXHIBIT B), which was his report to the Speaker on the work the interim task force did and the task force recommendations. Notes recommendations on page 14.
038	Chair Knopp	Advises members they should pay attention to LC 1657-1, which relates to the eight percent cap, and that the committee will probably hold a public hearing and possible work session on the bill on Thursday.
048	Rep. Macpherson	Speaks in support of introduction of measures as committee bills.
	Rep. Brown	Comments that the introduced measures provide a good start for debate.
	Chair Knopp	Expresses his appreciation for the members’ service on the committee.
	Chair Knopp	Adjourns meeting at 4:07 p.m.
