Committee Administrator.  Summarizes SJM 1, which urges leaders of Congress to establish commission to examine institution of slavery, subsequent de jure and de facto racial and economic discrimination against African-Americans and impact of these forces on living African-Americans and to make recommendations to Congress on appropriate remedies.

District 23.  Testifies in support of SJM 1.  Explains her reasons for moving the bill forward as February is National African American month.
