District 20. Provides testimony in support of SB 667. Believes that the fireworks business should be allowed to be located on farm land.

District 39. Provides testimony in support of SB 667. States that the fireworks business should be allowed to remain on land zoned for exclusive farm use.

John DiLorenzo

Western Fireworks. Provides testimony in support of SB 667 (EXHIBIT A). Believes that the fireworks business should be permitted to operate on land zoned exclusive farm use because locating it in an industrial zone or any other type of zone other than exclusive farm use poses not only a safety risk but would constitute a waste of industrial land. Suggests amendments that would allow the use to be a conditional use and limits the use to fireworks business that have been in continuous use at their present location since 1986.
