Announces that he has talked with Speaker Minnis and that he wants to get the committee’s focus back on election reform because he believes election reform is important to the entire state. States he has asked Speaker Minnis for permission to appoint a subcommittee of this committee to deal with campaign finance reform directly related to the issues that the Speaker and Minority Leader brought forth in their press conference from the bi-partisan workgroup which was comprised of Rep. G. Smith, Rep. Rosenbaum, Rep. Hunt and Rep. Kitts. Announces a subcommittee to include Rep. Thatcher, Rep. Holvey, vice-chairs of this committee, and Rep. Hunt and Rep.
