At 10:00am, Senator Walker was joined by Senators Kruse, Morrisette and C. Starr and committee staff for an informal meeting with Mr. Chuck Forster, Executive Director of the Lane Workforce Partnership. Members heard of the integrated services delivered to clients using the center including classes on how to write or improve a resume, how to interview and advice about educational opportunities. Committee members also learned about how local businesses are able to use services to find employees. Mr. Forster led the committee members on a tour of the facility and members were able to watch clients accessing services. By noon, the committee finished their meeting and were excused for the day.
