1The Journal
of this First Extra Session of the State
Legislature is very incomplete and nowhere is there
a complete listing of senators with the counties
they represent. The report of the Credentials
Committee does not appear. It seems, however, that
sixteen senators were entitled to seats and that
fifteen of these did qualify and take part in the
Session. The name of Mr. S. R. Scott, who was a
senator from Josephine County, does not appear in
any of the proceedings. It is probable that he did
not attend the Session. In one place in the
Journal, Mr. S. R. Scott is listed as being
absent. |
