Hood River County Records Inventory
Election Poll Books
Series documents the registration of voters and the compilation of election results. Records may include the election poll books and/or the election voter register. Information includes elector's name and party affiliation, and in some cases, physical description, occupation, naturalization information, and names of parents and spouse. Also included are tally sheets listing the candidates for each county, state, and national office and number of votes received, and oaths of office for election judges and clerks. Election poll books and voter registration records have been inventoried through 1930. For information on more recent records, contact the Secretary of State, Elections Division, the county clerk, or the local elections official.
