Naturalization Certificates

1875-1972

Series documents the granting of United States citizenship to petitioners. Records include applications, witness affidavits, court findings granting or denying citizenship, certificates, and indexes. Declarations of intention may also be included. Information includes name, age, and residence of applicant; applicant's dependents; date of filing of declarations of intention and petitions; and volume and page numbers where papers are recorded.

Certificate of Naturalization, 1909-1927 (11 volumes);
Immigration & Naturalization [Naturalization Petition Stubs-Naturalization Certificate], 1956-1972 (.05 cu.ft.);
Immigration & Naturalization [Persons Naturalized Over-Seas-includes petitions and certificate stubs], 1954-1955 (.05 cu.ft.).

Commissioners Records [County Court Judicial and Administrative Case Files-includes road petitions and reports, county officials reports, insane commitment records, and naturalization declarations of intention, petitions, and certificates], ca.1875-ca.1940 (7.50 cu.ft.);
County Court Journal [includes naturalization until 1906 and insane commitments], vol. 2, 1902-1919 (1 volume).
