Tillamook County Records Inventory

County Court Judicial Journals


Series records the proceedings of the county court for civil and some criminal cases. Information includes judge, plaintiff, defendant, and attorney names; trial date; memorandum of subsequent proceedings; and fees charged. Cases include citizenship petitions, legal changes to name, commitments, and writs of habeas corpus. Portions of these records may be restricted.

County Court Register [with index], vol. 1-2, 1894-1982 (2 volumes);
Law Journal [County Court-includes civil, naturalization, and insane commitment judicial cases and a small number of administrative actions-with index], vol. B, 1865-1895 (1 volume);
Ledger [County Court Law Dockets-with index], vol. 1, 1894-1904 (1 volume).
