Arrangement: alphabetical by district name, thereunder chronological by year of report
Series documents annual accomplishments and programs of Forestry Department districts and protection associations as reported to the State Forester. Reports include district/association name; date; membership rosters; fire summaries; statistics showing operations, permits, fire causes, and number of fires, personnel changes; special studies; and appendices. Some reports include photographs, illustrations, and graphics.
Prior to 1960, the Forestry Department and protection association districts were separate. The association reports also include by-laws, constitutions, and audit reports.
Topics discussed in both the district and association reports include state-local cooperation, forest fire protection, operations monitoring, management, fire fighting, and office operations.
