State Land Board at Tongue Point

Members of the State Land Board gather with other dignitaries at Tongue Point, near Astoria, in 1980 to accept the deed for 43 acres of land and 105.7 acres of submerged land from the federal government in exchange for two million dollars. Ownership of some of the land previously had been the subject of a dispute between the state and federal governments.
