Tidal flat at South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve (SSNERR) in circa 1982. Established in 1974, the SSNERR is a partnership between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - Estuarine Reserves Division and the Oregon Department of State Lands.
