Records document the actions of the Highway Department during and after the "Christmas Flood" of December, 1964 and subsequent flooding in January, 1965. Records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, rental and purchase orders for emergency response and repairs, lists, Teletype carbons, publications, photographs, maps, telegrams, newspaper clippings, work orders, invoices, and related documents.
