Series documents the review and revision of the administrative rules of the department. Series contains correspondence and drafts of changes in the administrative rules. The administrative rules were revised during a legislative review of the rules in conjunction with the abolishment of the office of state engineer in 1975 and the adoption of new rules for the director of the newly created Water Resources Department.
