Series documents some of the fiscal and administrative functions of the State Engineer. Created in 1905, the office of the State Engineer was transferred to the Director of the Water Resources Department in 1975. Series includes fiscal records such as fees, bonds, and expenditure records; articles and accounts of floods in the Willamette River basin; and correspondence about membership and participation in the annual meetings of the Association of Western State Engineers.
