Willamette Falls This image of Willamette Falls at Oregon City was taken by photographer Carlton E. Watkins in 1867. He was hired by the Oregon Steam Navigation Company to photograph the scenic beauty of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers during a four month trip to Oregon.
