Present Duties
The Children’s Trust Fund of Oregon (CTFO) was established in 1985 to eliminate child abuse and neglect in Oregon by awarding annual grants to effective, local primary prevention programs in communities throughout the state. The CTFO also provides public education and advocacy for the needs of families and children. In addition to the Trust Fund which comprises the annual funding available for grant awards, the organization acts as steward for the Children’s Trust Endowment Fund, which is available for the long-term funding needs of primary prevention. The CTFO receives donations from the sale of heirloom birth certificates, employee fund drives, private and corporate donations, and the income tax checkoff.
