Present Duties

Through a state- federal partnership under the Rehabilitation Act, the Commission for the Blind assists blind Oregonians toward full inclusion in society. The commission provides a wide range of individualized services to legally blind Oregonians so that they may prepare for and secure employment. The commission also provides training for blind citizens to maximize their ability to live independently in their homes and communities.
