Present Duties

The Children, Adults and Families Division oversees self-sufficiency and child welfare programs. These include JOBS for Oregon’s Future, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Employment Related Day Care, Food Stamps, child-abuse investigation and intervention, foster care and adoptions.

 

The division also administers vocational rehabilitation services which provide training and other supports that help people with disabilities become employed.
