Present Duties
The Office of Private Health Partnerships (OPHP) was created in 1987 to help Oregonians obtain health benefit coverage. The agency provides information about health insurance to small employers and administers the Family Health Insurance Assistance Program.
OPHP also trains insurance producers and others in general health insurance information and the public programs that help cover Oregonians. OPHP makes presentations to community, business and civic groups and refers consumers and employers who need help finding an insurance plan to specially trained insurance producers.
