Rosemary Baker-Monaghan
EXPERIENCE AND RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Oregon is a strong and beautiful state but these are challenging times. The Legislature has put our schools on the chopping block, cut dozens of police officers, and threatened our clean air and water. It’s time for a change.

Strengthening our Schools

Rosemary Baker-Monaghan will work to stabilize school funding, reduce class size, and to spend resources efficiently. The people of Oregon need to be confident that the state legislature has made a thorough, reasonable, and fair review of current government spending. Rosemary Baker-Monaghan will be fighting for this on behalf of her constituents.

Oregon’s Economy

Rosemary Baker-Monaghan knows how Oregon’s economy is affecting families and businesses. She will work to generate jobs and promote economic growth, while providing leadership on budget issues. She will also work to encourage small businesses to invest, expand and create jobs which can support families, the backbone of our communities.

Public Infrastructure

While Mayor of Seaside, Baker-Monaghan acquired $4 million in funding for new bridges. Nationwide bridges are deteriorating. We are not keeping pace with the need to rebuild and refurbish. Seaside is well ahead of this trend with four bridges replaced. Rosemary Baker-Monaghan deserves praise for this progress.

Rosemary Baker-Monaghan is fair, open and honest, with a proven track record of successful leadership. She is committed to stabilizing education funding, promoting job growth, and improving public infrastructure, safety and health care.
